Housebot - Winamp - mutiple soundcards

Hi all,

Anybody any Idea on how to set up housebot and winamp so that mutiple soundcards can be used to play music in two zones.

I tryed making two installations of winamp and setting up two devices. But only one devices works ok. I also tryed mutiple instances but than winamp only plays with one soundcard.....

1. Does Windows correctly see both of your sound cards?
2. Does Winamp correctly see both of your sound cards?
3. Do you have two copies of Winamp in two different directories?
4. Do you have the proper option set in each copy of Winamp

• Pref -->General Pref --> Allow Multiple Instances
  Pref -->Plug-ins -->Output --> Select device and press "Configure" Button

Make sure on the last item above that you have selected a different output device (Under the "Configure" button) for each copy of Winamp otherwise it will use the same default device for both copies.

That should be all that is needed to get multiple copies of Winamp playing on different sound cards simultaneously. To add Housebot to the mix, just make sure you have the HB plugin installed in each copy of Winamp plugin directory and setup each copy as it's on device in HB.
