Theme Screenshots

Post by Osler »

I wanted to post some shots of a theme I am currently working on. This theme is in progress but I thought it may give a good idea of what is possible with HouseBot. Included in this is a screen for control of my sonos system, which may be of interest to some. I am using a dynamic image layed under everything to give me the ability to change the theme background on the fly. The last two images demonstrate a quick background change. Nearly all of the controls I use are transparent to some degree to allow the background to show through. All of the images for buttons and panels were created in Adobe Photoshop and are available upon request.

The only problem I have encountered using the dynamic image underlayment is with list controls. As you can see in this image of the control of a single sonos zone, the list controls have literally pushed the dynamic image downward to accomidate them.

And the cable screen after the background has been changed. These images are a bity grainy compared to what I actually see but it should give you an idea.

These are some screenshots of the companion theme I use on a Nokia 770. The above are 1024 x 768 while those for the Nokia are 800 x 480. Enjoy.

See the downloads section at http://www.cebotics.com . I have uploaded several skins there. The skin that goes along with the above them is called Transparent. I have many more channel buttons than what are included in the theme. If these are what you're after, let me know and I will create a seperate channel skin with all of my buttons.

Also note that I use the font set from GUIFX within these themes. Two sets can be had, GUIFXTransports and GUIFXIcons (or something similar). Go to GUIFX.com and sign up. The fonts are free for personal use.

I think this is all the channel buttons I have. I will have to upload everything else to my server and provide a link.
