Kyle,
That looks like a good start. Unless I am missing something all it can do at this point is to start a task already defined in HouseBot. Any plans on extending the functionality?

That's correct. It currently only executes tasks defined on the server and lets you arrange those tasks on your iPhone into your own folder hierarchy, sort of like Safari bookmarks. I may extend the functionality in the future, but I can't guarantee it. This is primarily a project I've created for my personal use and am only publishing it into the app store in the off-chance that others may be interested in using it, but I'm actually not expecting a large customer response. I have other iPhone projects that are attracting my attention at the moment, but I would turn my attention back to Puppeteer/HouseBot if either (a) there is a larger customer response than I expect, or (b) I find that I'm personally wanting some new feature that is currently missing.

Anything special to setting this up boss? I've got it on my touch, entered my server IP address and port # (5015, correct?), but it just sits and sits at "Connecting"
I know the port is open 'cause I can telnet in from another computer on the network, but it just never connects...
Can you help?
Thanks!
David

Make sure you've added an "External Control" device to HouseBot, enabled the ASCII protocol, set a password and set the port number to the same number you use in the iPhone app. Let me know if you're still having trouble.

Hi Kyle,
Thanks for the app, just purcuased it and installed it.
Any chance it could be written to include on/off for the devices?
thanks
