Is anyone using SageTV? I am integrating it into HB and would like to have some additional testers.

I use SageTV. What kind of integration are you doing?

Enable extender control from an swremote.

Display extender "Now Playing" information on swremote (including album, dvd, etc. art).

Display recent recordings on swremote.

Enable searching of media library from swremote with play now functionality.

The conduit for this will be nielm's SageTV webserver (an add-in that has been around since SageTV 2.x).

I use SageTv and love it. I started trying some integration things between SageTv & HouseBot a while back in the Meedio days, but never really got anywhere. For SageTv hardware, I have the MediaMvp, HD100, & HD200. I have nielm's webserver up and running. I also have SageTv Client and PlaceShifter. So, if you need a tester, give me a shout.

I currently have a basic script that will allow control of the extender (HD100/200 - not sure about MVP as I don't have one to develop against) over IP. In addition, it pulls the now playing data as well. This is a patchwork at the moment. I will try to get a basic script device put together this weekend and get it out to you.

Find below a .zip file with a .hbx file for import into HB. This contains three devices related to SageTV. Two of the devices allow HB to relay caller ID information and messages to the SageTV user interface via a popup using ShadeBlue's Info Popup add-in. The other device enables control of a SageTV client/extender using Nielms webserver as a conduit. To use all of these devices, the above SageTV add-ins need to be present on your SageTV server.

See the readme files for more information. Post questions, concerns, requests. The client/extender device will continue to be enhanced by me. Current functionality is quite basic...but it works.
