Scott - There is a different "RFXmitter" module available from RFXCOM which I believe lends itself better to transmit efficiency. Are there any plans to support this or will I need to buy an additional ordinary transmitter as well ?

I do plan on supporting it at some point. However, it won't be in the foreseeable future.
