Yep, I run FS20 for almost all of my domotica. Dimmers, switches, doorbell, curtains, screens and heating. I use the FHZ1300 PC interface which is connected to HouseBot and wrote my own device driver to control of the modules. It's a large script and works with the generic serial device. The FHZ1300 drivers create a virtual COM port so HB can actually connect to it even though it has a USB port.

Hi Richard,
I came accross this (old?) message. Is it possible for you to share your (knowledge of) device driver for FS20 stuff? I have the FHZ1300 PC but can't seem to figure out how to control this through the virtual com port.
Regards,
Peter

Hi,
I know this is an old thread but I'd like to give a vote for the new X10. I've run it for 2 years and never had any issues. It does 2-way comms so I think it must have come a long way since the original systems.
