disappearing theme elements

This morning i noticed some of the elements on my software remote have just up and gone. I reloaded the theme and same scenario.
Then tried to use the XML file from a backup, same thing.
Anyone ever have this happen if so what was the solution.

Are these items overlayed by something else? If so, check the layers in the theme editer.
This shouldn't happen in any other case. If certain graphics cannot be found (deleted for some reason) your swremote shows a screaming image telling you something is missing.

the theme editor shows the same, although i havent checked the layers.
it's strange as it is just a selection of things on just 2 pages that have gone. not all the items.
all the xml files for that theme have the same modified date.
bizarre.

Did you try a PC reboot already? Could be some graphics memory issue.
Any theme xml file changes lately or did this just happen out of the blue?

Out of the blue, had to do a restart of server. when i reloaded the theme some bits missing. No changes to the theme in over a month.
Another restart just for fun?

Last thing I can come up with is enable the SWRemote Tracing. Open the faulty panels and check the trace log to see if anything wierd pops up..

the theme editor shows the same...

Do you mean the theme editor is also NOT showing them? If so, you might want to make sure the images that the controls use are still valid and accessible on the machine.

Looking and thinking about it again today, it is like the theme has gone back to a time when it was a work in progress, e.g i have a battery level indicator on the "main" page. on the latest version of the remote it said " the battery level is" x%. it was neat and centered etc. now i just have the x% over to the left where it was probably originally dropped.
As stated above i cant seem to find the any version of the file with a modified date that is different.
Might have to go and redo the missing bits i think.
