Post by MichaelK »

Spent lots o' time at remotecentral..and most of the discrete codes there are not in Pronto Hex format, and various conversion tools dont seem to work...any other tools or tricks, Scott? Thanks!

In my experience, I generally find that learning the IR Codes using the remote works fine. You should only need to get the Pronto codes from RemoteCentral for the odd discrete code (like separate On and Off codes vs. an onoff toggle).

I generally don't go to the "Discrete IR Codes" section on RemoteCentral. Usually I peruse the CCF Files for the equipment I'm looking for and then extract the Pronto codes with ProntoEdit.
