Hey. I picked up a nice little LCD touchscreen with 433mhz celeron 256mb ram, 20Gb Hd, and more....
off of ebay.
This is going to be flushed into my kitchen wall as a main "command" unit...
I actually stumbled across it here:

Not a bad deal either. Came fast, packed excellent, very cool controller.
Theses MP3/carputer guys have lots of cool ideas and whatnot that would cross-over into home automation quite well.
There is a 7" LCD touch monitor that a lot of them use that would make an excellent little control center in the theatre room.
Just thought I would share!
Fantastic Touch Screen LCD computer!
7" unit - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... gory=32826
Yeah, its a tad deep, but width is OK. It will fit in a 2x6 wall fine, but a 2x4 wall will need some spacing. Luckily for me, the wall its going in has a closet behind it, so I will just build out an access panel in there for it.
Some of the guys on that thread were pricing out cables to detach the panel from the computer.......
I cant wait to play with it!!!!!!
