Tasks & Modes: Some Help Needed!

I am trying to use modes to execute multiple tasks for my x-10 lights.

I have created several tasks for the various modules I have and they work.

However when I try to combine them in a Mode and try to execute the Mode it does not work.

For example:

Zone 1 Lights off task works.

Zone 2 Lights off task works.

When I add them to a Mode and execute that from a SW remote, so that both tasks execute nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong?

Can I combine a task inside another one? How?

That's not really how Modes work. If you want to execute a series of Tasks at one time, create a new Task and simply add the individual Tasks as an action list.

Modes dynamically enable or disable Tasks.

Modes don't really do anything, but they will keep things from happening. For example, you may have a group of Tasks that manage automating the lights around the house. Maybe you don't want these lights coming on (or off) when you're watching a movie or having a party. Deactivating the Mode will cause any Tasks associated to it NOT to execute.
