Housebot Pausing Meedio Essentials Films/DVD/TV HOW?????

Its been a while since i added new X10 devices and im now looking at adding some motion detectors for lighting etc.

One of the things im going to do is stick a motion detector near the front door.

I want this to detect if someone has approach (is at) the door and if so to Pause anything im watching within Essentials ie, TV or a DVD or a pre recorded film/series etc.

Anyone done something similar and if soo HOW do you setup Housebot to control Essentials???

Go to the HouseBot forum, look at one of the first sticky's in search for the Meedio/HouseBot connector. With this plugin you can give Meedio commands like PAUSE from HouseBot. So what you suggest can be done. You just need to read up on how to get the connector to work.
