I may be making a mistake here but can not find anything allready designed for this (although I am a newbie to housebot). I have a pc running MCE 2005 and would love to control it via serial (RS232), wi-fi or TCP/IP with my housebot software. Ideally allowing for 2 way feedback so the software remote can display status etc etc.
I know I could move to meedio essentials and this may make things easier but the Mrs/familly gets on with MCE 2005 and I am loathed to swap if I can help it
IF this all ready exists please forgive me (and hopefully point me in the right direction)
