I went Remote Control Library to code each device (HDTV monitors,Matrix Switch,DVD Player and CD Player). I went to Hardware Interface and name it USB UIRT. Under click for additional configuration, first under remote name, I named it TV 1 for my Vizio HDTV. For example, my code name is Power and press learn to learn a new code for Power; I go through the scanning process and it succeed. Then, I create a new remote control for Matrix switch,DVD player and CD player to code different buttons.
My question: if I want to see if I have all the codes proceed, what folder would I find it under to make sure I have all the IR codes for TV,Matrix Switch,DVD player, and CD Player?
is it under following folders on housebot: config, clients, plugin and etc?

Re: Remote Control Library
Not really sure what you are getting at, but the codes themselves are stored in HouseBot's database.
Re: Remote Control Library
Once I create new remote control for each device and I code buttons for each remote, what file would I find these pronto codes for each device?

Re: Remote Control Library
So you created a hardware device USB UIRT and learned all of the codes.
Goto the property manager and create a property using a name which makes sense.
Add discrete labels to this properties and name them for instance: Power, Volume Up etc.
Then you create an IR devices going to Menu: Settings/Configure IR Devices and add the above mentioned property.
Then you create a device which requires a hardware device and pick the UIRT and then select the device you created during step 3.
This device will show you 4 properties and a Log. Select the property which you have linked to your device in steps 2 and 3. Now you should see 4 tabs: General settings, History, Dependent tasks and IR Codes.
Select the Tab IR Codes. You will find your discrete labels in one window and your learned codes in another. Now link those two together and you will be able to use the codes by attaching them to theme buttons, tasks, scripts etc.

Re: Remote Control Library
What my partner and I are experiencing is after we create a Remote, we have to manualy associate each Ir code to a button(function) from he remote that controls the componets we are using: DVD, HDMI Matrix Switch, CD Player, HD TV(Sanyo) and HD TV(Vizio). We set the Remote Freq at 38 and then use the learn function on the Housebot program to map each IR Code to the correct Buttons from the remotfor the components.
The issue is that not all of the codes are completed. The debug indicates 100% at 98% power. We tested this procedure on previous components and didn't have this issue.
what should we do, if there are not IR codes uploaded in the Pronto site for our devices? It has to be something simple: freq, distance?
Untill this issue is resolved we can't move on to the next step.
Thanks,
Johnny
