I want to add that it might be an output that needs to changs relevant to the zone. I am adding indicators with the control buttons for dvd and xbox screens.

When we did the intial IR-code learning procedure, we were under bright floresent lights.
Maybe that had something to do with it.

I did some research on this and it's possible the remote is too powerful and overloading the US-UIRT. Also I read somewhere it may be possible to use a universale remote, then transfer from that to the USB-UIRT.
