I have the Marantz/Pioneer protocol document somewhere, as soon as I find it, I'll post a link to the document on my webserver.

Re: Pioneer DV-F07 or VSX series with serial control
a little late, but I had housebot running with a marantz VC8100 just fine. I lost the HD and had a corrupted CD-r, so I'm starting from scratch with several RS-232 devices, so I'll have my hands full for a while.

What version of the Software Remote are you running? Version 2.31 had some memory improvements if you were running multiple panels using the same background image. Certainly decreasing the size of the images (background or otherwise) will also help improve the memory situation. Scott, is this true ...

ampro serial device
Well, as I start to recover my HB system, does anybody have an ampro serial device defined? I'm slowly rebuilding the NAD and other files, but the Ampro would be a big help.

well, all I can say is thank god, as an old user, I came to the conclusion that meedio could care less about us. when my install bomebed due to a fried hd this past winter, I just resorted to remote controls rather than deal with an attitude of indifference. THANK YOU SCOTT for doing the right thing...

Hmm, having been an HB user since V1, I can honestly say that it's looking grim. I recently had a HD failure (after only 4 years running continuously, no less) and while searching for my backups of the themes and device definitions, I've started soul searching long and hard. Since Meedio bought HB, ...

or, take a little from the command cubes forums, a little from the xlobby forums, add a few winamp plugins and sound cards and voila! 2 zone multisource pc...or at least that's how I did it, though in all fairness, it's not for the weak of heart. It was done as an experiment to disprove just the kin...

actually, with drivers from the kx project http://kxproject.lugosoft.com that can be done with nearly any audigy/SB EMU 10kx based card.(see above website for details) If someone could find/write an ASIO plugin for winamp, there are several open source ASIO driver projects that support AC97, EMU 10k...

Any possibility of supporting Command Cubes?
Scott/Alan, any possibility of future support of Command Cubes, or is such a question verboten given Meedio's competing product?

plugin request
Ok, since this is now a commercial product, will there be a procedure for plugin requests? I know that I'd like to see a plugin for the marantz VC8100/pioneer DVF707/ DVF727 DVD changers (all basically the same model, same control code) over rs232. These suckers are pretty popular in larger installs...

plugin download????
Ok, while I can understand Scott's decision, how will it affect those of us using 2.15 and before? where can we download existing plugins? at this point, I'd prefer to download the entire set, just in case....

Elan Z series control
Elan's Z series uses IR commands sent over wire (or using optional IR sensor w or without keypad). Has anyone played with these and made any progress? I'm considering a GC 100-12 and will use 3 of the IR ports for controlling the whole house audio system. Elan is very un-helpful, gladly referring yo...

Scott (anyone?) has anyone had any luck controlling winamp via the httpq plugin? I have my mp3 jukebox, a remote machine that I'd prefer not to have girder on, in the other room and connected to the whole house audio system. My idea is to set up a second touchscreen remote in the dining room and hav...
