if you happen to be able to isolate which JPEG is the culprit and send me a copy of it, that would significantly help to resolve the issue.
I'm found a problem with my slider's button (see attached).
After replacing it back to HB's original button, the crashes stopped.

If you run more than one instance on the same PC, and each one is full screen but on a different virtual session, will HouseBot have any problems? You can define different 'Software Remotes' and use the command line with the 'name' flag to run SWRemotes. I didn't find any problems with this setting...

do you use transparent background for the property values?

I developed a phone plugin for HB.
It requires a VOICE modem with CallerID capabilities.

I'm willing to give the full version to several testers.
PM me if you want to try it.

What swayed you to use HouseBot? 3 reasons: support, supoprt and more support. I didn't need to evaulate any other product because Scott was giving an awesome support. If I had needed a feature that HB didn't have, he either gave a workaround or added that feature to HB. The response times were ama...

Is this because you are managing multiple servers in your house? Why do you have multiple config files? I have one server at home. However, I have clients that use HB, and I keep a copy of the config folder for each client. I preper the installation on my laptop and then copy the files to the clien...

Allow multiple 'Config' folders

When handling more than one HB application, they become difficult to be managed. A small application that would tell HBServer the actual name of the configuration folder and the actual name of the mdb data file will help a lot (or any other way that will allow to select the config folder and the HBD...

It is also possible to connect multiple monitors and mice to the same PC, and run several instances of SWRemote on that PC.
The downside is that only one mouse pointer can be active at any time.

I never had such a thing.

However, try to check the 'Enable Tracing' box in the configuration menu of the SWRemote. This may give a hint.

BTW, if you updated the HBServer version, did you also upgrade the SWRemote on the PDA?

HB limits?

I'm curious to know if there are any real-life limits to HouseBot. Since it's a software product, and it takes very little CPU power, it looks like HB will handle any installation, as large as it can be, with no issues. I pesonally used HB with a couple of hundred devices and over 100 tasks, both au...

New timer control

One of the uses of the system is to schedule property changes and task runs. Some people need MANY such timers. This can easily get to 20 or more timers. Instead of having to change the times inside tasks, it would be a lot more user-friendly to change the times from a theme. A timer needs to have s...

I have the sound card connected to an old amplifier. The amplifier is driving a 6.5" in-wall speaker that is located in the living-room.

You may want to be able to control your house by phone. I developed a phone plugin that allows remote control by phone. It can also announce through the speaker who is calling. It can also initiate phone calles. I will probably share it when the sharing forum will be available. Adding sensors is rel...

I don't see a reason for having BOTH 'blank screen' and 'execute task' options with separate timers.
If it's simpler to implement, I think it would be enough to allow a selection of EITHER blanking the screen OR running a task.
